How do we bulk edit extensions in SP2?

CTRL + Click to select multiple extensions, and then click the edit button just brings up the first selected extension.

Yes, you're right. Select with "Ctrl" and then press "Edit". It edits all extensions.
Probably you occasionally removed multiselect somehow.

Looks like it only works with Chrome (54.0.2840.59) and only with ctrl-key, selecting a list by by clicking first and last line while holding shift-key won't work.
Using Firefox (49.0.1) or Edge (38.14393.0.0) won't work for bulk-edit.

Ok yes, I just checked this is does not work in FireFox 49. That's where my confusion is. It does work in Chrome with the CTRL key, but oh my goodness can we change the highlight contrast????

It's almost impossible to see it.

Another thing is you'll need to clear the browser cache after updating to SP2 for this to work.

Or press refresh. Works on all supported browsers.
Can you confirm by refreshing the page or better clearing the cache, you can multi-edit?

I can confirm it works 50% of the time, every time.

Half the problem is you can't see which extensions are highlighted because the contrast between selected and unselected is so awful.
