Solved busy voicemail

I am having a weird problem.
out of the blue external calls are not able to goto voicemail

from an internal extension, I can call another extension and get voicemail, but a call from external calling an extension will get 3-4 rings and then instead of voicemail the user gets a busy signal

I am running v18.0 Build 1880 on Hosted 3CX

I can't find a setting that won't allow voicemail from external.

Any help would be appreciated

Nevermind, I found the problem.
another user changed the ring time at the provider to 15 seconds. so after 15 seconds it disconnected from 3CX.

Admittedly, on the users page, Forwarding Rules
"If I do not answer calls within: xx Seconds" is under Internal calls and it isn't clear that it effects External Calls.

I see your point though, on the other hand, the extension will have to ring for both internal and external calls so the fact that it affects both types of calls makes sense too.

In any case, glad to see you got this resolved!
