Call answered by two extensions - followup

Hi. I already wrote about this here, unfortunately not being able to constantly reproduce the problem make it harder to debug. Anyway it happened again: an external call arrived, call group rang, two persons picked up the call. They both were able to listen and talk, so was like a three way conversation. Despite the rarity of the event this is a huge privacy problem which I hope can be properly investigated.

This mostly happens (and was this case) with a in office deskphone and a remote Android app. Specifically, in this situation the call was answered in the office and they started to talk, then (simultaneously) the remote user answered on the Android app and was able to hear in the call.

The 3CX call log just shows the call being answered by the deskphone, there's absolutely no evidence of the Android APP being in call, which makes it even more scary, in privacy terms.

Please let me know if I can make more specific tests, it has been happening for some time now and the customer is starting to get angry as they don't want the users to eavesdrop each other!

I don't know if this can be relevant but the 3CX server is internet connected with a VoIP dedicated DSL line at 2Mbps/512kbps.

No I missed it, thanks. I suppose it's exactly the mentioned case.

As this is happening quite rarely I will have to figure out how to capture traffic packets for months

It has probably not been regarded as a major issue, for most users, as it is usually one person either at their desk, or on their mobile, but not answering both, at the same time.

This problem arose with the increase of smart working, as we currently cannot all stay in the same office some are working from home using smartphone app, increasing the risk of this situations
