Call by First Name

Is there a way to make the call by name work by First name. At first I thought I could just switch last and first names, but the system prompt says "last name". is there a way to modify/custimize the prompt.

Hello,

You can modify the prompt if you want but Call by Name is still last name only. There is no way to change it to first name.
I would suggest checking out http://3cx.ideascale.com/ to see if someone has suggested this already and then vote for it or if no one has, then you can add this feature request and have others vote for it as well.

How does one change the prompt that says "please enter the first three letters of the last name" to a custom message. If I can do that, then I can just use the ext users first name in the last name field and achiebe "call by first name"

Once you find the promptset files you will see UserName.wav. This is the prompt to enter the first three letters of the last name.

On my system this is the path:
c:\ProgramData\3CX\Data\Ivr\Prompts\Sets\8210986B-9412-497f-AD77-3A554F4A9BDB\UserName.wav
