Hi,

Our set up has 3 sip trunks. In order to make outbound calls, users have to dial a prefix to choose the outbound trunk (7, 8 or 9).
Now, when making conference calls, adding external numbers does not work anymore, even when adding a prefix to the called number. It seems the PBX cannot use the outbound rules...

Can you help ?
Thank you !

Hello @next2

Do you have an extension limitation configured in your outbound rules or have a group of extensions defined?

Indeed. The 7 - 8 - 9 prefix thing is set up for an extension group, where the user trying to create conf calls belongs.

Are you talking about 3CX audio conference calls ? If so you may have to allow your conference extension to dial out.

If you will find your conference extension number under Settings - Conferencing - Audio

Have you check the activity logs, to see what is happening and why calls are being denied.

Make sure that the conference extension is included in your outbound rules as system extensions are not part of any extension group.
Also worth checking is that the option "Call participants when the audio conference starts" is enabled under Settings / Conferencing / Audio.

Thanks for the advises ! It works now.

Glad to see the issue has been resolved.
