Hello Everyone,
We have just started using 3CX on 05/17/2019 with Professional Perpetual 16.0.1.273 License. There are lots of cool features. Kudos!
In presales stage, we have been told that there was an API which we can internally use for our purposes. Which was a great opportunity because we have our own developer team to get most benefit out of it. (We are running a manifacturing plant.)
HOWEVER after installing 3CX and retiring old AVAYA system, we have learned that Call Control API is no longer couraged to use by developers and documentation is discontinued.
We know that the most important feature for us is still in use by 3CX.
We require these two features MOST:
"Play audio on some extension". (3CX performs this when you try to listen an audio from management console; Calls an extension and plays audio file)
"Send a chat message to an extension programatically" (We don't know if it was supported earlier in any of the APIs but, why not?)
Can any experienced fellow guide us?
Thanks in advance!
