Dears,
To give a short summary before the full situation and explaination, the issue is that When we try to call an extension and that this extension is in lunch status with redirection to mobile the message "no outbound line were available for this call" is played to the caller before cutting the call

The 3CX PBX version is 16.0.910
The 3CX client version is 16.0.0.35
The Physical phone is a Snom 720 with firmware 8.9.3.88

usual inbound and outbound calls are working fine on the extension receiving the call (741)

A full restart of the system doesn't change anything.

Is there a system extension which should be configured in the outbound rules to allow these calls to get out ? Or is there an option to allow the call redirection somewhere in the extension ?

I attached the full configuration of the extension to the thread in case it would be helpful.

Any idea is a good idea because I'm at a loss as to where to look ;-)

Thanks forwards for your help.

Best regards

Laurent

Can you ring the mobile from the handset ?

Check your outbound rules - there maybe locked down too much.

I believe when you use 'status' on the phone, it uses a system account to dial the number. You may have to create a new rule to allow outbound calls to the mobile number.

in "741 General.jpg" try changing the mobile to any other number, even an office number just as a test.

Hi Laurent,

In addition to your usual outbound rules for extensions, the system will need an outbound rule to allow itself to make outbound calls to (for example call your mobile line to forward said call).

You can create a loose rule for this and move it down the list and try again.

Check how to do this on our academy course here: https://www.3cx.com/3cxacademy/videos/advanced/configuring-outbound-routing/

Slide 10 should be what you are looking for. I suggest to watch the linked video for a more detailed explanation

Thanks for your answers, Yes, the phone can call the GSM without any issue (any phone in fact)
I'm checking the outbound rules following the documentation and will come back at you :)
