Hi,
I have read a couple threads mentioning this as a known issue (unbelieveilbly it still unresolved) but they all seem to be related to not receiving the original CID in the call history of 3CX client apps. Obviously the info is in the call logs so how hard can it be for 3CX to display it to the user.
My issue is not only are we not not seeing original CID but also not seeing the transfered call. We need to be able to see the duration of transferred calls.
As below I can see the following call flow whereby external call comes in to reception and they announce it to Michael and then transfers it and Michael talks for 6 mins. All looks good in the backend call log

However on Michael's Call History all he gets is the Reception 9 second announcement and no reference to the 6 mins call.

All reception sees on their call history is the 45 second external call and the 9 second internal call.
It appears at though no one can see the 6 minute call other than the backend.
This is a major issue as the client does time based charging and they need to regularly go back to check call durations - which of course their ancient NEC hardware PBX system did this seemingly basic function fine as they keep telling me.
The Callog on the handset does give call duration for announcement and transferred call but as others have mentioned this only give CID of Reception making it pretty useless.
Anyone have any workarounds or is this going to be fixed any time soon?.
Does anyone know if this issue still exists with blind transfers as all threads only refer to attended transfers. I might be able to convince reception to put external call on hold, then new call to announce and hangup and then take external call off hold and blind transfer? This is the only very clunky workaround I can think of but don't want to waste time reconfiguring things and testing if it wont resolve the problem though.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers.
