Hello all,

I currently have outbound dialling on my 3CX system set to require a 9 prefix in order to access the trunk. In an effort to both reduce user confusion and allow for easy redialling from phone handsets, I setup inbound caller ID reformatting on the trunk so that all incoming calls are also prefixed with a 9. This has worked excellently and has meant that almost all external numbers ever displayed to users are prefixed with a 9, except for outbound calls in the 3CX apps. Unlike the Cisco desk phones we use, the 3CX apps are aware of the outbound rule I have setup which strips the 9 prefixes before sending to our SIP trunk, and so outgoing calls are shown in the 3CX apps call log as unprefixed, so any dialling attempts fail.

My question is:
Is there a way to avoid this and ensure that outbound calls are stored in the call logs with a prefixed 9?

Thanks!
