Is it possible to have a beep sound play when a customer places a call on hold? This customer has previously used this feature on an analog phone system. I'm checking to see if anyone has any suggestions or workarounds for this. The customer is currently utilizing a Yealink SIP-T54W.

Thank you,

Can they just record a WAV file with the beep and use that as the hold/queue/park/conference music?

Hi Steve, thanks for the input. What they actually needed was something like when you put a person on hold; they wanted to hear a beeping sound through the speaker to remind them that there was a person on hold. They sometimes tend to lose track of calls they put on hold.

Ah, I see. One option is using shared parking, and use a BLF for the park slot status so the "LED" remains on.

Got it. The BLF light will remain green if there's a person on hold.
