call on one extension rings on multiple extention

hello,

setting up a couple of IP Phone and i notice that sometimes multiple phones will ring when calls are made to an extension. don't really know why this is.

You haven't provided a lot of information to go on.

Are the extensions part of a ring group? ...all the same extension number?

Are they at a remote site, using STUN, and have all been assigned the same local port number?

You might want to have a look at the 3CX Activity Log, after this happens. It will show all of the Invite messages, sent to sets, when a call is made.

they are not part of a ring group, 3cx pbx is deploy in the cloud and using stun for the IP Phone - grandstreams gxp 1625 all have local sip port of 5060 and RTP from 14000 to 14019

what do you mean by all the same extension number?

If you are using STUN, then each set must be assigned a unique port. If this is not done then a call to one will send the same Invite to all, as you have found.
