Hey Everyone,

We have been running into so many issues on our most recent installs within the last 6 months on call quality issues after porting their numbers to a different provider. We have been having to register the DID list every couple months for the calls to not be marked as spam we are told. I am just curious if anyone is having this issue with there installs within the last 6-9 months?

Examples of the calls
- Dropped calls randomly
- Ringing a few times and get dead air
- Static call issues constantly

The odd thing is all of our installs from over a year ago have been rock solid and have not had any issues with the same exact provider.

Hello @TechCheck
In this case, I would strongly recommend running the Call Quality Report for several of the affected calls. This will help determine where the issue is originating, whether it’s related to the local network, the PBX environment, or somewhere between the PBX and the SIP provider.

The report will give you visibility into packet loss, jitter, latency, and where those values start to degrade.

Additionally, please make sure that the Firewall Checker runs successfully and passes all tests.

Is the other end/callee behind Level3? We have a couple specific numbers that we sometimes but not always have trouble calling after approximately https://www.3cx.com/blog/news/fcc-robocall-mitigation-voip/ time frame. Reportedly our provider was mistakenly flagged, quickly fixed, but symptoms remain last I knew…the other end can call us fine. We’re told Level3 is blocking, but when it doesn’t work it does ring a few times before dropping. Obviously we’re not making robocalls.

How about going back to your original provider?
