I have my agents extensions setup "Allow multiple calls". If I use the regular Ring Groups, it will ring to all extensions even if they're on a call.

But if I try to use the Call Queues instead, it only rings extensions that arn't busy.

The thing is, my agents dial in to a predictive dialer, so they're ALL on a long call on the dialer system. So they're all technically showing as "busy". I still want to be able to use the Call Queues to ring to use the "Fewest Answered" feature. But it wont work since they're all technically in a busy status, so it doesn't ring to anyone at all.

Is there a way to setup the Call Queues to ignore the busy status of the extensions so it works the same as the Ring Groups?

Otherwise, this feature is useless for me and I was really hoping to use it.

This is how the system work for queues, it will only ring extensions that are available.

Queues are typically used when (after the caller has to (typically) wait on hold) , an agent has the time, to give a caller their full attention, without having to put them on hold (again) and take another call. That is the way the vast majority of users want it to operate.

Could it be made to work the way you want, probably. Would it be worth spending the time doing that, probably not.

I understand that. I am hoping heirs a setting somewhere I can change, or am hoping that's a setting that can be made available in the very near future. Since my agents are always on a dialer, it's imperative

This is a constant theme... no-one wants (it seems) to understand that for small organizations that want to project a professional image, the background music of a queue combined with the multiple calls of a ring group is desirable. I've ended up looking at 3cx pro for the handsets (mobile and internal) but having Asterisk host the queue (with the 3cx trunk as a static agent, and the 3cx trunk configured to a ring group in 3cx) - it works, but feels "messy".
