The latest update says the feature below. How do I turn it on? I can't find it anywhere in the admin panel.

"Call Recording Transcription via Email

After a call ends, the transcript can now be emailed directly to recipients. Use your email search to not just search your email conversations, but even your calls."

In the user's option tab (in Update 5, not yet officially released), it's called "Call Recording Notification" in the call recording options.

We have had the ability to email recordings in our 3CX Recording Manager tool for probably 10 years, and the ability to include the OpenAI transcription, summary, sentiment, action items, key points, appointments, and any other question you could ask AI included in the email since OpenAI has been available. Further, we compress the recording attachment to 1/4 of the original size and convert it to MP3 (more compatible than WAV). This helps with handling the maximum attachment size.

If you want full control over who's calls are analyzed, who can access recordings by Department, the ability to Ad-hoc analyze an existing recording, provide AI-based agent scoring as well as human scoring, the ability to ask different OpenAI questions by department, and more... take a look at our tool.

Hello 3CX Community,

Following this thread and considering the AI Agent capabilities, I would like to confirm whether it is currently possible to send the transcription of an AI Agent conversation via email.

I understand that 3CX allows sending call recording transcriptions by email for a specific extension. However, my question is whether this same functionality applies when the conversation takes place between a customer and an AI Agent.

In other words, is it possible to configure the system so that the transcription of an AI Agent interaction is automatically sent by email to a specific extension or email address?

Thanks!

As far as I know, that is not currently possible with the 3CX voice bot.

We have created a similar voice bot that registers as an extension in 3CX. It pulls it's knowledge from a central knowledgebase created (and updated nightly) by scanning your website, user manuals, YouTube channel, and supplementary files you upload. The bot limits responses to data you provide rather than pulling rubbish from the internet.

We use the same knowledgebase to provide an AI-based help feature in our upcoming "VoIPTools One" product. This new help feature keeps a transcript of the user's conversation. We then uses AI to identify common areas where customers have questions so we can improve our software based on frequently asked questions (they can submit feature requests, suggestions, and bug reports too).

If a user asks a question that cannot be answered by the information in the knowledgebase, we automatically flag that conversation, create a ticket, and then ensure the the user gets an update with the needed answer and simultaneously we update the knowledgebase so the next time a similar question is asked the needed knowledge is available.

I see no reason why we could not adapt our voice bot to generate a similar transcript of your voice conversation and push that to your CRM. We could give the voice bot a score on how well they handled the call too and inform managers when it gets a low score. We can do pretty much anything you need.

This new voice bot is not a commercial product yet, but if you needed it right away, we could get you a solution quickly.
