Call recording when dialing in 3cx & making outgoing call

Hi,

I have been trying to call my 3cx phone number, then dial 999 access voice mail and enter extension no & pin no. & then press 9 for more options and press 3 for making external call.

I fail to understand that when making this call I am using that particular extension then why does the call not get recorded for that extension in this particular scenario.

If i dial out straight or receive any incoming call then it records the calls fine.

Please provide help.................

Hi,

The call is being routed trough the extension it is not being dialed from the extension, so in actual fact the extension is never involved, it is a conversation between the 2 external entities.

You could post a feature request on ideas.3cx.com
