Call recordings deleted in erorr

Hi , we unfortunately deleted all of our call recordings a few days ago, i wasn't too worried as we have them in a 3cx backup, but today extracting the recordings from the backup i noticed we can't get anything to play them, we do have compression turned on on the recordings.

So other than doing a full restore of the backup is there any way of getting the recordings to play , we have tried in vlc, or is there a way of adding the recordings back into cx

Since they store as .wav files, VLC player is enough to play the file..

Or do a restore to get them back in.

Try using VLC, compression means they are recorded in ADPCM and most devices don't support that format by default.

thanks but they aren't playing vlc, are there any extra codecs required?

I can confirm they are playing in VLC 3.0.20, I'm not sure if there is some other problem in your case.
