Hi,

We have a requirement that the call recordings has to be encrypted when it is stored in the 3CX server.

Can anyone advise is there any settings to turn on call recording encryption ?

Thanks.

Hi @Kwang Mien

There is no setting to turn on that will encrypt the recordings that are stored on the 3CX server.

You could encrypt the drive where the recordings are saved. 3CX does not offer the ability to encrypt individual recordings. Nevertheless, you may want to take a look at our 3CX Recording Manager tool. We provide additional features for managing recordings. One thing to consider... if you encrypt a recording, how do you listen to the recording? Either you would need to unencrypt the recording and then play the unencrypted version (defeating the purpose of the encryption) or you would need a proprietary media tool that can play the encrypted recording. We can help with that.
