Further, we enabled early-connect in Patton gateway, we observed that on the 3CX Reports, all calls are marked as answered even if the customer did not pick up the call. Not only call records, record calls from the ringtone onwards. could you please review and advice?

It is the same issue described in the below thread. Just would like to know is there any workaround or solution now for this since this thread is a very old one.

If as mentioned here the specific setting you enabled has the gateway send a 200 OK before the call is actually answered then that would explain it and I'm afraid there's not much that you can do other than disable it.

If you want to confirm it you could maybe enable Verbose Logging in "Dashboard >> Activity Log >> Sesttings", make a call and let it ring for a good duration before answering. Then, check the activity log for that call, did the 200OK from the gateway arrive once the call started ringing or only when the callee answered?

I have disabled early connect in Patton, there also see the miss-match. Here I called a number that rang complete ring and went to the 3cx generated message "Call could not be established, contact Administrator". Due to this 5sec message, this call is considered as answered in the 3cx report. Actually, it is not answered by the client. Please review and advice

Now that would be due to having "Play Busy Prompt..." enabled. Go into "Settings >> General" and disable the following option then try again:

@ChrisC_3CX, it worked. It is a nice feature to play a busy prompt when the number dialed is busy, at the same it should mark as unanswered in call reports since it is not connected with the recipient.

The problem is that to play the prompt the call has to be answered SIP wise hence the call log status gets affected accordingly.
