Hi guys,

We have been looking at the reporting side of 3CX and have noticed that the date format is in MM/DD/YYYY. Looking at this we are trying to have the system print this out in DD/MM/YYYY however we have been unsuccessful so far. I was hoping to see if anyone has gotten their reports to work in the DD/MM/YYYY format?

I have seen a post that advised that the language is the key in the format, on the Web Console we have changed the language to English (UK), we also changed this though the SSH command
Code:
env LANG=en_UK.UTF-8
then issuing a
Code:
sudo reboot
however this still brings call reports in the MM/DD/YYYY format.

The 3CX instance is completely updated and is on 16.0.3.676

Hoping to see if anyone is able to shed some light on this.

Kind regards,

My reports are coming up in the correct format and im UK.

if you type date in the terminal does it display Thurs 28 Nov?

Hi Kieferschild,

I just checked and mine actually shows up as Fri Nov 29 not Fri 29 Nov. Do you know how I would be able to change that date format?

might be an OS setting. Can you ssh to your Linux and check the time? Also did you install the ntp as per installation guide?

Thank you for your help with this. When setting up the system it appears that we have left the default language as en_US, this sets the date in the Fri Nov 29 format and even though all date is set as AU after that, this initial format appears to be what is setting reports as MM/DD/YYYY.

In order to fix this, I did sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales and installed the en_AU one, finally set the en_AU as the default and after a sudo reboot the reports are now in the correct format.

glad you got sorted. thanks for sharing. @JohnS_3CX
