Hi All,
I am new with 3CX, I have just set up a 3cx PBX in Amazon.
Our inbound calls are working okay. Outbound calls also work but the issue is that outbound calls are coming as a private numbers on the remote phone.

Is there any setting that I am missing?

Can someone please help me with this issue.

Regards

My first guess is that the caller ID you are attempting to sent to your provider, is either not an "approved" number (one supplied by them), or, is in the wrong format (does not look like a valid caller ID). Some providers limit what numbers can be sent as caller ID. I would ask your provider, what they see, from you, that causes them to send the CID as Private.

Caller ID can be defined in a number of places in 3CX, you could check the 3CX Activity Log, to see what you are sending, or wait to contact your provider. The number being sent may give you an idea of what needs to be changed.

If you're sure the number you're using is correct, you can try setting it as the Caller ID on the Outbound Rule which will override all other Caller IDs on the PBX. This way you will at least eliminate this being a 3CX configuration issue in regards to the Caller ID.

Also, what SIP Provider are you using, is it a 3CX Supported one?

@ LeeJor , You were absolutely spot on, it was the provider who was hiding my number. So I called them up and they guided me and we fixed the issue. Many thanks and God Bless.
