Hello, I'm new on this forum, I have a question about trasfer and pickup call; when I call a number and this extension is trasferred to another extension or external number, I'm not notified about call transfer: on phone display or in the webclient, my call is always showed to original called number and not notified that I'm talking with another extension (or external number). I have the same behavior with call pickup. Some clients coming from Cisco CM ask this functionality. It' possible to notify to caller the new called number?

Thank you and sorry for my poor english!

Hi @francescos,

I've tested the following scenario:

A calls B, B blind transfers to C. Both A and C show the correct data for the call, that they are speaking with each other.

A calls B, B attended transfers to C. Both A and C show correct data after the transfer is complete.

Can you describe what you are encountering in the same format above?

Hi VasilisV, I'll try to explain the scenario.
Sorry but I confused transfer / forward.
A calls B, B has a forwarding rule that transfer call to C; on the webclient or desk phone shows that A is speaking with B, not with C.
A calls B, C pickup the call; on the webclient or desk phone shows that A is speaking with B, not with C.
I hope this is more clear, thanks very much

Hi @francescos,

I'm unable to replicate this after testing. Are you sure you're running the latest version of 3CX and did you follow the guides with regards to installation of 3CX?

3cx version 16.0.8.9, new installation on Debian
I follow the guided installation from 3cx ISO.
I replicated this in others 3cx installation, to others customers, and the behavior is the same.
If call transfer is activated by forwarding rules or call pickup, A doesn't show the correct data for the call: A is speaking with B and not with C.
Do you have a different behaivor?
Thanks

Is the system hosted, local? Are the devices behind an SBC, or local to the server. Is Supports Re-Invite, selected in each of the extension settings?

Hello leejor,
thank you. Yes, system is hosted local on a debian VM.
All devices are not behind SBC.
Support re-invite is selected. I think this a problem of Snom phones. I opened a ticket to Snom support.
Thank very much to all, bye

Thanks for the update @francescos, please update me when you receive a response / solution.
