Call waiting with ring groups

Hello. I have an office with about 10 phones, all Yealink T42s. We have enabled multiple call support for each extension and it works when extensions call each other. The swap button shows up as an option.

However, when external calls come in we do not get the swap option. I think this has something to do with external calls being routed to a ring group (ring all), but this seems odd to me that this would disable the ability to swap calls.

Is there a workaround to enable call waiting/call swapping if the extension is answering a ring group?

Please note that the call waiting option only applies for direct extension calls either local or external and not calls coming through a ring group or Queue. There are a few threads in the forum regarding this and there is a workaround mentioned if you wish to try it.
