No patch will be done. We decided to concentrate on Version 4.

I haven't tried 3CX yet, but I'm going to install it as soon as our new server gets here next week. I tried trixbox, but I'm going to try out a few Windows PBXes because if I ever leave this company somebody else will need to know how to maintain the system (linux = harder than windows).

It would be good to look up the number in an internal database. Most of the calls we get are from the same few companies. Our VOIP provider charges $.009 / lookup.

I'll let you know if I still feel this way in 3 weeks.

Hello 3CX

You have a great product with great potential.

I have several leads waiting for you to fix the Called ID (Name) feature.

I have read this post and see that MANY other users are requesting the same.

Please let us all know when can we expect a fix?

Because if you are not going to take this request seriously.. then we all need to know so that we can go with Tribox.

But I think all of our preferences are to go with 3CX.

Thanks and great job with this product.. but please enable this important feature.

3CX is a continuously evolving product influenced by users of this Forum. I expect since this feature is much requested, it will most likely be in v4 slated for release very soon. 3CX staff are busy preparing this version so feedback or comments from them are rare at this time. Be patient.
