Our one affiliate company has a POTS service... When they leave they forward their calls to us.... Originally there were errors for which we couldn't understand why... For kicks and giggles, I had to put their number in as a DID, and setup a inbound ring group for that number and it worked no problem... Don't understand how, since that number that its forwarded from isn't on my SIP, but it worked.. The nice thing was even though it rang on my main line, and because I had to setup a ring group for that particular POTS DID, we were able to determine if the caller dialed the affiliate number, or our number as the caller ID displayed the ring group... Now what is happening is we can not determine if the caller is dialing our affiliated company that get forwarded to our number, or is dialing our number directly... Doesn't know if it was a fluke originally, was nice to determine which number the caller was dialing.... Is there a setting in the parameters, that we can do to determine if the person dials our affiliate company that forwards our calls to us or our number directly so when it pops up on our caller ID, we know what number was dialed....
