Customers caller id is coming in the following format:

210xxxxxxx:TopGun

TopGun is the name of the trunk.

How can I prevent the CID from showing the trunk name?

And how can I get the trunk to use CNAM?

every incoming call over that trunk shows the same callerid?

No, they show the correct CID but they all show the trunk identifier. I want to remove the trunk id and if possible incorporate a CNAM lookup.

Are you talking about a "trunk Identifier" that you created in 3CX, try going to Contacts/ Options and select do not add under Add Group, Queue or DID/DDI Names to Caller ID. Do you subscribe to a caller name service from your provider? They usually charge an extra fee for lookups.

As @leejor mentioned you can control what is appended or prepended to the caller ID through the management console, Contacts / Options. What you are seeing is probably the name of the Inbound rule you created for the specific number. CNAM lookup comes from the provider so you should make sure your provider offers that service.
