Calls are not being recorded

Hi, I have enabled local call recording, and also checked the option to record as an MP3 stereo file. But my calls are not being recorded. I've tried both clicking the refresh button as well as restarting the application, but calls are not being recorded even after doing this.

any idea what the problem is? Thanks for any help!

Ok, I see the recording button must be pressed each time. Anyone know where the files are stored locally? I'm on Windows 8 64 bit.
