Hi All. I tried searching the forum for something related but the search wasn't working for me.

I have a customer that has 2 locations but different businesses. They're call volume isn't that high.
We're using Bandwidth.com. I have 2 trunks configured, one for each business. Business A has 2 phone numbers, Business B has one. Business B also has it's trunk limited to 1 simultaneous call.

Now, if I move the DID to a ring group or directly to an extension, this doesn't happen. Calls are routed as expected.

I created a Digital Receptionist for Business B and made the main trunk number the DID. This mostly works. However, sometimes the calls will come in from the other number and get mis-routed. Here's an example. Out of 4 calls, 3 were routed correctly (813) one was not (804). I also noticed that it came in on the other trunk line.

Hello @DCB ,

Where is the trunk B defaul roiting set to be routing?

Paulo

Also did you use the default template to add the trunks?

@paulodagraca To a ring group (814). That ring group also has the number as the DID

@YiannisH_3CX Everything was built through the GUI, so yes?

Hm, none of those calls were routed to 814 though? (there were also 5 calls posted above not 4)

If you look at Bandwidth's logs does it show the call that came in on trunk A, and which trunk/account does it show it on?

@SteveITS You're right, I stand corrected. Of the 5 calls, 4 went to 814 and 1 was mis-routed. These numbers are all in the same bandwidth sub-account because the IP Termination is the same.

In what format are the DIDs added in 3CX? Are you using the E164 number format (+1234567890)?

Yes, we are using E164

I would recommend creating a ticket as this is a supported provider so our support team can have a look at the configuration of the trunks and review a trace of a misrouted call.
