All of our users with iPhones can't use their contacts list to dial out. When a user finds a contact and presses the call button, busy sound immediately. iPhone users have to dial the prefix and the phone number in order to call out.

On Android, there is a phone icon next to the Contact name and I've been able to call out using my Google phone without entering anything. I'm assuming there's something I can set up as an outbound rule to fix this?

Please provide a sample of a number which fails and the one with the prefix which works, so we can figure out what the rule would have to be.

all calls from iOS app fails - doesn't matter how the contact is saved on the iOS device (with +1 prefix (+1415-358-4848 or 415-358-4848). on the Android phone, both numbers connect with no issues. the only difference i can see from the iOS and Android 3CX ap p is that there is a phone icon next to the contact name in Android and by pressing that, it connects directly. on the iOS app, you tap the contact name, the contact info shows up, and you tap Call to make the call. none of the calls made from the contacts page in 3CX connects.

Let's see what the client log says then. Go to the client Settings and there, on the bottom, turn ON Verbose logging. Make several such calls as you described, then go back to Settings and Send log report to your email, so you can then send it then to me by PM (put it on a dropbox or file sharing and send me the link so I could check tomorrow)

i'm attaching the log file.

It's a clear "Not found" from the PBX:

SIP/2.0 404 Not Found
To: <sip:[email protected]
User-Agent: 3CXPhoneSystem 18.0.5.418 (418)
Warning: 499 pbx.cloudapp.net "Not found"

Can you set the PBX in verbose mode and generate a Support Info for is logs so we can check? But DO NOT post it here since it contains private data (that's why I edited you post above), send me the link by PM.
