Calls Going Right to Voicemail WHY?

[thereverend]

Calls that come in are going right to my voice mail. My phone is working properly and i can make calls from it and it is showing as registered but the calls that are coming in are going right to voicemail. Can someone please tell me what settings to check to make sure it is set up right or whatever.. BUT not all calls go to voicemail only 4 out of 6 do.. but the phone is always on and ready when they do.. I call myself and it goes to vm .. please help!

Also It seems... That when you change a setting anywhere or even go into the DID area and click apply the phone will work for about 5 min then it seems like the system stops sending calls anywhere.. except to voice mail even when the voice mail is not activated for the extension. It is some error in the 3cx program for sure but is there a setting somewhere that can keep alive the 3cx server?

Also... I just tried to set up a digital receptionist thinking maybe.. if i added one it would prompt the caller to press 1 to continue the call and the system seems to just be ignoring that command all togother. I changed the INCOMING rules to send calls directly to the digitial receptionist with the DID rule being 518* for all DID calls as my DID is 518XXXXXXX so i used the wildcard there but.. it just ignores the commands all togother.. Is this some type of bug in the software, Has anyone else had this problem?

Ok everyone. I have found out why all my calls or most of my calls were going directly to voicemail here you go..

This is what happened. I installed 3CX on another computer 1st to test it out. I then decided i was going to put it on a server all its own. So i deleted 3CX from the 1st computer using the UNINSTALL that the program came with. It took all the items away and did not get an error. I then installed 3CX on a dedicated server. It APPEARED to be working at 1st. Then after about 5 or 10 minutes (I assume the time it takes for the server to register with the TRUNK) i could not get calls. I tried everything under the sun spending SEVERAL days on this problem. Could not figure it out. UNTIL I turned the server off and went to my provider and seen that it said REGISTERED after the 3CX SERVER had been offline for several minutes. I asked the provider to provide the IP address that was registered and found that the OLD computer that i 1st installed it on was still running the server for some reason. This caused a conflict running 2 , 3CX's at the same time with the same provider. I did not know that the 1st computer was still running it and there was NO indication that the Uninstall did not take. This is clearly a PROGRAMMING error on the 3cx side that hopefully will be addressed in the new edition or update. But a good heading to put this under is "All my calls go to voicemail / Phones worked but now they just go to voicemail with 3CX" Thank you.
