I am trying to setup the mobile app on my phone and then trying to test some interactivity with the 3CX desktop app.
When dialing a contact in the desktop app and selecting the mobile app as the "Call Using: Smartphone", the call is made, sent to the mobile device but then the call is automatically put on hold when i answer the mobile device.
Is this normal or is there a config issue that needs to be addressed on my end.

EXT 1000 only has a mobile device assigned to it (my cellphone), so there is not a desk phone involved.
I have the desktop app downloaded and installed and registered for EXT1000 on my laptop,
I click on CONTACTS, choose a contact, then clicked on the PHONE icon to dial that number.
The desktop dialer is set to CALL USING:Smartphone
When the call is initiated, the call is sent to to my mobile phone on the 3CX mobile app.
When I Click "ACCEPT" , I hear Music on Hold instead of being connected to the party that was dialed.

If I talk into the handset, the call goes off hold and I can talk to the called party.

This doesn't seem correct...... Did i miss something in the desktop app guide?

Regarding your question, this is correct. In uaCSTA mode with a smartphone app and initiating a call from a desktop app, the call will appear on the app that needs to be answered first so that the call is put through, this is known as ‘MakeCall’ and how it works in this scenario.

I see the "Make Call" appear on the mobile device, bu then the cal is place on hold immediately and I hear music on hold on the mobile device.

So you are saying that that is normal and then take the call off hold, I just need to speak into the mobile device?, Like saying "hello" or "OK"??

Once you answer the Makecall on the mobile, the call will be put through to the destination, you will hear music on hold till the call is answered by the callee.
