Calls over 3cx bridge not working from master side; dead air

I've setup a bridge between 2 local 3CX v.18.
The bridge is up on both sides (green dot in trunk list)
All settings according to https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/connecting-pbx-bridges/
Calls from slave side work perfectly
BUT, calls from master side don't work, all user gets is dead air for a while and the call is dropped with the message "Temporarly unavailable"
In call log it shows: Failed
I have checked and re-checked every bit of the settings, it's all exactly as listed in the 3CX maunal.
I'm lost, can anyone help me ?

Make use of the 3CX Activity Log (Verbose) to make sure the calls are routing to the intended destination IP and port). If they are, then check that the required ports are not being blocked.
