Can 3cx phone system and 3cx phone be installed on a same PC?

I install 3cx phone system (Version 3.1) and 3cx phone on a same PC. When I use another sip phone to call 3cx phone, 3cx phone ring but calling party is disconnected. 3cx phone system record show called party (3cx phone) is busy.

Why? whether because 3cx phone system and 3cx phone can't be installed on a same PC?

I can tell you that I have similar sitaution. I have installed 3CX Phone system on My Laptop for testing purpises and on the same Laptom also X-Lite phone and it work just fine.

I have han never any problems making and receiving calls on X-Lite.

Change the sip signaling ports

eg: 3cx is running on 5060? Change the softphone to 5061 etc...
