Is it possible to send a command from the computer to make a call from my grandstream phone at ext 100 ? because im making some contact software and it would be nice to click the number and automatically call it.

Thanks in advance guys :)

PS: Your software is out of this world!! thank you so much :D

We can use 3CX CallAssistant.

i know :) but id like to make my software able to dial a number too :D

OK. I think our site admin can be answer this question.

would it help if i said im coding in vb6 ... also an idea is i could just call an address within a web browser, if there was a command that would call a specific number ?

192.168.0.2:5020@01234

thats just an example of course that wouldnt work :) but i think you catch my drift :)

not really possible then ???

You can create SIP client that will simply create two calls using direct SIP call to PBX and then make attendant transfer. result of this manipulation - both parties will be connected to one call.

Stepan

could you go into a little more detail in how this could be achieved?

RFC 3261, RFC 3264

reSIProcate library also useful.

P.S. You can use it to implement functionality right now. Otherwise, you need to wait until API will be provided.
