Hi 3cx knowledgeable ones - really hope you can help a non VOIP newbie struggling to get his head around something that clearly should be simple:
I have a single SIP trunk (voip provider A&A) which i want to use as a base group for a load of internal extensions and then allow them to be contacted on that extension as a DID (to clarify we want extension 235 to be able to be dialed as its external number which would be +44xxxx xxx235)
we haven't been able to achieve this inside 3cx yet. I imagine this can be done quite simply. How do we setup individual extensions to be able to use a DID other than the main trunk number inside the 3cx software
I know this is very simple and apologies for asking, but its doing my head in.
if there is an easy to follow guide that explains, please could someone provide the link?
otherwise we face creating 50 trunks in A&A which will require 50 trunks in 3cx which seems like a lot of work.
(FYI, if any of you do have time to reply, I will pick the replies on Monday as i am away for the weekend)
Thanks in advance - sorry if it sounds vague but we do have any experience of this type of setup
Andy
