Solved Can I use 3CX to act as a switch?

Hello Everyone,

It is possible to use 3cx as a switch?
meaning when the ISP send me a call and i received as an incoming call, rather than send the call to an IVR or ring group Ect...
I will routed to a different trunk (another PBX)

No you can't really do that. At least not in an efficient way.

For that there's Freeswitch and Asterisk.

3CX could act as a tandem switch, but there are limitations. The incoming call could route to an extension, that was then forwarded to an outside number. Passing the original caller ID may depend on the outbound provider you are using. Each active call would use two simultaneous calls allotments.
