Solved Cannot add all extensions as BLFs after version 20 update

I found a post about a user that could not add all their extensions as BLFs after updating to version 20. I did not see any comments or fixes for that post. I am having the same issue with a tenancy that we recently updated to version 20.

In the older version of the tenancy, all the phones were STUNed, and there was no router phone.

We noticed the problem when provisioning a new phone. The new phone automatically became the router phone. But we can only add two extensions as BLFs. They happen to be the most recently created extensions. All users are in the same department in the tenancy.

And I just figured it out. Sheesh. It was because I had the "hide from contacts" selected in restrictions. Hope this helps.

I am not sure i understand you correctly. How are the phones provisioned now? Is the pbx remote to the phones or in the same lan?

The PBX is remote. But when we upgraded to v20, the new phone that we provisioned became a router phone. If I tried to configure it any other way, it would not provision.

Thats correct, you need an SBC or router phone to connect your phones to the pbx. Also correct, the "hide from contacts" needs to be unticked.
