Cannot change personal greeting

Hi Guys

I am having a problem with changing the personal greeting on my phone . I have tried restarting the voicemail service and that makes no difference .... what do i do next

Here is what I added to the welcome message, see if it works for you.

Change Voicemail Pin number
Press 7
Enter new pin code
Press #
Verify message
Press *
**** Once you change your pin number you will also need to
change it for the 3cx Myphone app so that it doesn't lock you out.

Greeting Name
--------------
Press "5" to change your greeting name (not your message, just your name) Press "0" when ready to say your greeting name"
Press "#" when completed
Press "0" to save the new greeting name

Voicemail Message
------------------
Press "8" to change your greeting name (not your message, just your name) Press "0" when ready to say your greeting name"
Press "#" when completed
Press "0" to save the new greeting name

I have had this problem before. For whatever reason I have had to delete the greeting manually on the 3CX server for that extension and then have them go back in their voicemail and re-create it.

Go here: C:\ProgramData\3CX\Data\Ivr\Voicemail\Data

Select extension that has issue and delete the savevmgreeting.wav file

It will be recreated when they go back in. Cheers!
