Cannot create profile on HTC Tattoo

I'm trying to install the 3CXPhone on an HTC Tattoo. It installs fine but never asks to create a profile. When you access the profiles on the phone it says "Profiles are unavailable" so I cannot set it up to register with our SIP provider. It looks like a bug in the 3CXPhone software - has anyone else seen this type of behavior?

any ideas on why or if there is a fix,

reading the reviews on the android store, its quite a common issue

This is usually an issue when a storage device / memory card is not available to write the profile to.

I have this problemon motorola milestone android 2.2.1 and the sd card is there !
