Hi all together,

we are on the way to integrate our ERP system into 3CX and therefore we have created a new template based on the MSSQL CRM template. It is just all about getting the contacts from ERP database to 3CX, neither call journaling nor contact creation. After disabling the Contact URL feature in the template, we must learn that this field is needed because it is the master key for the CRM contacts. However, we created a dummy URL in the template with only the CustomerID and now all CRM contacts are created or updated just fine.

Now the problem is that when a customer is calling, the dummy URL is opened through the Webclient which does not make any sense for us.

We already disabled the feature but it is just getting ignored. Maybe somebody ran into the same issue and can help us.

Next question would be to disable this for all extension simultaneously.

Cheers, Timo

Hello @Tm99 ,

Do you use the Chrome Extension or the Web Client for calling functionality. If you use the Chrome Extension, the place that you have to configure is on Chrome Extension and not on WebClient.

Please let me know.

Hi Constantinos,

you are absolutely right. After disabling it in the Chrome extension it works like it should.
Thank you very much for your help!

Cheers, Timo

Hi Timo,

Please note that the Chrome Extension has the same setting, independently of the main Webclient

So if you like, you can keep your Chrome Extension but just make sure you disable the URL from there too.
