Solved Cannot Download CP860,CP960 Template

On all of our sites, we have a pending update for the Yealink CP860,CP960.

Whenever I click on it to download, I get a red round circle icon with a line through it and nothing changes. I can download SIP and other template updates, but not this one. Confirmed on five different 3CX installs. Screenshot here.

On Update 3 or Update 4?

If this is a Linux installation would you happrn to have manually edited the files on the disk? This usually happens when th software does not have permissions to overwrite the file.

If Windows and if you have A/V software, disable it, restart and try again.
If Linux, find the file disk and ensure that the Owner and Owner Group of the file is 'phonesystem' like the others.
Alternatively, just update to the latest Service Pack which should include the latest templates for these devices anyway.

We saw this on numerous servers but here was the trick, prior to update 4, they would not install it, it would just stay on the list of updates pending, after update 4 is installed, it installs perfectly, just have to do the update 4 first is all.

Yep, i watched your clip, we had the exact same thing going on numerous of our 3CX Servers, and they were linux. After running the 16.0.4.493 update the template was still showing there but this time when we clicked install it went just fine.

Confirmed BrenttG. I updated four servers this afternoon and each allowed me to download after. Thanks.
