Cannot forward calls to external mobile

I've been trying to set up the system in such a way that there is only one physical extension, the rest of the extensions point to mobile numbers(external). Calls are getting thought to the physical extension (00) and I can even call mobile numbers from the extension, but the problem is that when I try to forward the call to the other extensions which have mobile numbers (external number) I get the error 603 Declined/INVITE from 192.168.100.251:5050(this is the ip address of my GSM gateway. I even tried setting it up via a Digital receptionist but I'm still getting the same error. Could this be a ISP restriction? Is there anything I'm doing wrong? I'm using Yeastar TG100 for my GSM gateway
Am I formatting the numbers wrongly on my outbound rules? I'm from Kenya, and mobile numbers here are in the format 0712345678, or +254712345678(in international format)

I would start by using the 3CX Activity Log to compare the Invite, for a working call, through the gateway, to that of a forwarded call. What number is being sent, are they both identical?
The log would seem to indicate the call is reaching the gateway.

Thanks a lot for the response. However, I'm still familiarizing myself with the system so I'm not exactly sure how to do that.

I've attached the Activity log for when I'm calling the extension using a mobile number, when I'm calling a mobile number using the extension, and when trying to transfer the call to a mobile number. I would really appreciate if you could point me in the right direction

If you have enabled the 302 Diversion option under the extensions forwarding rules disable it and try again.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I can't seem to find that option under forwarding rules in any extension, so it's unlikely that I've enabled it. Any other place the option could be? Maybe it's enabled in a different setting.

The logs you posted have several issues. They also involve several calls, I'm not certain which is which.

Call(C:3): Call to "0728XXXXXX" <sip:[email protected]:5060> has failed; Cause: 603 Declined/INVITE from 192.168.100.251:5060

Target endpoint for +254706XXXXXX can not be built!

Is 192.168.100.251:5060 a gateway that is declining calls? Are those the numbers you are attempting to forward to ? Is it the number beginning with +? That number appears to have an issue with your outbound rules.
An incoming GSM Gateway trunk is routing to ext 00, which is then forwarded back out to the same gateway, or to where? I see this Cause: 302 Moved Temporarily/INVITE from 192.168.100.198:5060

How many GSM gateways are you using?

I don't see a "working" call in there,

I'm not sure why you aren't seeing a working call, because I can call from a mobile number to the extension 00 and vise versa. The only thing I can't seem to do is transfer that call to an external number. And I only have one GSM gateway. Could it be an ISP restriction?

If you are calling from a mobile number to extension 00, I assume that the call is coming in through the GSM gateway, or is it? If Extension 00 is forwarding/transferring the call back to an outside number, it cannot use the same gateway, if it only supports one line (SIM). You will require a second outbound route, be that a second gateway, or a SIP trunk.

Ah I see where the problem is. So I need a second GSM gateway to be able to do that> I imagined that but wasn't sure. This answers a lot of questions, thanks. One more question, what if I used Digital Receptionist to direct the call to a mobile number? Is that still the same thing? I would still need either a GSM gateway with two lines or two gateways? Yes, it's the same thing.
If you have one call in use on the gateway already you can't route a second call back out on the same GSM single line gateway. You will require a second GSM gateway, a PSTN gateway, or a VoIP trunk. 3CX is pretty good, but can't make a single line gateway handle two calls at the same time

Awesome! Thanks for letting me know. I've spent too many days trying to get this to work. So I'll just get a second GSM gateway. Maybe just one question. I would configure the SIP trunk exactly how I did the first one? Would it automatically use the second SIM for a second call or would I have to configure that?(not sure how I would configure that. Otherwise, I can consider this problem solved. Thanks so much for all the help!

You would configure the second gateway the same as the first, just give it a different trunk name in 3CX, and of course the IP address of the second gateway will be different.

In your outbound rules you will decide which trunk (gateway) calls will use. If you don't care which one is used on outgoing calls, then you can simply add the second trunk, as a second choice route in the rules. If the first is busy, the second will be used. If you want to keep one, just for incoming, then don't include it in the outbound rules. Outgoing calls made on each will show the mobile number of the SIM being used.
