Cannot intercom from desktop app in v20?

Good afternoon all,

Upgraded a client to v20, and it appears the receptionist's favorite feature - intercom - is not available from the desktop app. They do have the proper receptionist permissions; it is visible in the web app, but she prefers the desktop app.

Am I missing something? Is the intercom feature available in the desktop app or must she use the web app?
