Cannot link Partner ID to client

Hi 3CX,
Client subscription under old partner has expired 12/31/2022.
I unlink old partner and try to link to my Partner ID.
Enter the partner ID, "Confirmation required" screen comes on saying that you will be linked to our Partner ID and our name.
Select ok and new Warning screen with message: Cannot find given reseller.
Not sure if the issue is us or their expired subscription.
I would like to connect as their partner and renew their license.

On Premise, 3CX Debian ISO, 18.0 Update 3 - cannot update because out of maintenance.
PS. The forum requires a system, but their system is not in our list so I used our system.

The reason you are unable to link a client to a Partner ID is that the system is still on Version 18.0 Update 3, which also will not be able to reach the 3CX activation server.

You will need to first update the system to version 18.0.418 Update 5.

As a first step, you can try updating the system from the Management Console. In case you are not able to update the system from the Management Console the only option available is to take a full backup of the system and download the latest 3cx ISO from your portal.3cx.com, redeploy to a new machine using the latest 3CX iso, and restore from the backup taken. https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/installing-debian-linux-pbx/

Before attempting any of the above is always a good practice to take a full backup of the system.

Hi Nikolas,
I did a backup. Set up a new VM and restored the system.
System is now at 18.0 update 6 (build 889). This was the version on your web site.
I saw the note that update 6 is the current release for on premise.
I was able to link our account to the client.
Purchased a Pro license and waiting for it to update the information on the dashboard.
