Cannot schedule a conference call to external numbers

Hello,
Is there a reason external numbers can be added to a conference attendee list and 3cx calls them right away, but the same thing cannot be done when scheduling a conference?

Not sure what you are describing.

You should be able to include external parties (phone numbers) in a scheduled conference call.

You can only enter emails for external participants when scheduling a conference.
Cannot just enter external phone numbers, same as when creating a conference call right away.

The idea of scheduling a future conference call is that you send the connection information to intended participants for them to put the event on their calendar. I can only conceive of sending this kind of information via an email.

If you wanted to just connect them to the conference by having the system call them (which would not work if they are reached through some shared phone number like a company main number) then you must do it using the Ad Hoc conference option which is doable.
