I'm running v18 3cx phone system. I can't access the management console through the FQDN or the Public IP. I get to the Login screen but the login doesn't work.

Hi!

When you say "login doesn't work", what exactly happens, do you get an error message when inserting the credentials?

Where is your 3CX system installed? Is it on an on-prem server, or in the Cloud? If it's on-prem, can you access it from the same LAN as where the 3CX is installed on with http://[LAN IP]:5000/ ?

One last thing, I'd log into the 3CX server via RDP/SSH (depending if you're using Windows or Linux) and check if all the 3CX services are running, particularly nginx and the Management Console service.

Try typing the local ip of the pbx and then for 5000 eg: 192.168.1.2:5000
this can be a workaround so you can have a look at the firewall checker

Services are running. It's on-prem. and yes I can access it from local. When I try to login through the FQDN it I get incorrect username and password. Also now I can access it from the public. When I ping the FQDN it shows the Public IP of our office not where the 3cx server is located now. The public IP is correct in the management console.

Can we get some context?

Is this a new installation? Did it work fine before? What's happened on your side?

Have you got mulitple WAN IPs?

Are you routing traffic to utilise these different WAN IPs?

What router is it?
