I have a GS GPX 1628 and successfully provisioned 1 extension, I have been trying to provision a 2nd extension but its imposible because MAC address has been already linked to the 1st provisioned extension.

Is there a workaround?

On a yealink, you will need a custom template. This is a 3cx limitation, not yealink.
I assume Grandstream is the same.

Or manual config of the extension, but - if 3cx re-provisions that phone the account will disappear.

Yes, that happened to in another phone where another extension from another pbx was provisioned.

Thanks!

I'm not sure at all it can be deleted if second account is set manually because 3cx template is just setting the first account, it doesn't care if others accounts are or not set .
I've several Snom phones with manual second account added and each days automatic reprovisionning doesn't wipe my settings.neither reboot or manual provisionning.
The only way to wipe is to factory reset the phone or to do it in phone gui

I think it depends on the phone. Yealink, back in the v14 days, for sure deleted any extras. It's why I learnt custom templates.

Hi grupoardo

We only support a single extension per device. Please note that this is not supported by the system. You can do it manually if you find a way, but be aware that may cause unforeseen issues down the line that break compatibility with 3CX
