Solved Can't connect to my 3CX instance from my home computer

Recently installed 3CX on Google Cloud and for a couple of days was able to use the management console using the FQDN.
I then added my first physical phone, got the credentials wrong and ended up getting my home IP blacklisted.

Got back on to the management console from another location and whitelisted my home IP but from that point on I have never been able to connect to the console from home.
I can ping the IP address of my server but cant connect to it via the IP or the FQDN. Can still connect happily from any other location.

Apologies if this a dumb question but this is my first time trying out the technology. Any suggestions?

You said you whitelisted it from another location. Did you delete it first and then add it to the whitelist or did you edit the blacklist entry and convert it to a white list? If the latter I recommend deleting and re-adding.

Initially I updated the blacklist entry to switch from Deny to Allow. However that expired after 24 hrs and I still couldn't get in from home. When I went back to my alternate location to get onto the console there was no entry. I so I added a whitelist entry from scratch without improving things. I then re-booted my router at home and since I have a dynamic IP from ISP was assigned a new IP. I went back to my alternate location and immediately added this as a Whitelist entry. Still no access possible from home. I have taken every other device off the network and only have a new Windows 10 machine connected to the router and cant get thru. I am thinking that I may be best uninstalling and starting again.

Console Restriction or Allow Lists with dynamic external IP addresses do not work.
I would identify the device which is blocking you and reset it. Something or someone is not playing nice.
