I'm trying to configure my own voicemail greeting on extension 00 using voicemail from an external phone. I've called in, had the Digital Receptionist voice prompt respond, entered 999, then 00 for the extension and the PIN number. Went to 9 - 8 for personal options, voicemail settings, and I recorded, saved, and verified the new greeting message. Using SSH, I logged into the system and verified that the new greeting file is at: /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Ivr/Voicemail/Data/00/savevmgreeting.wav.
However, when I then try calling into the system, entering extension 00, I only get the standard greeting message. I even rebooted the system without solving the problem.
How do I get the customized message to stick when I call into the system from an outside number?
