Solved can't do outbound calls

Hi,

I have installed a 3CX PBX on-prem/linux for a demo (free license) and would like to use it with SIPTRUNK provider (demo account). I added the siptrunk sip trunk, I see it green, added a group and put all the extensions in it with default setup, created an outbound rule abd allow the group to use siptrunk route.

Installed the android client on two phone and can make calls between extensions, but I cannot dial outside (tried us48/canda), I always get a "Not Found" error.

LE: the android phones are not on the same IP network as the PBX, I can provide debug logs

Any help much appreciate.

Look at the activity log, and see what the number is being passed thru to the sip provider - it may not be in the correct format.

Also the activity log will should you, if it is using the correct outbound rule

this is my first error in the logs

623####### is a 10 digit US truncated number and 427##### is my 8 digit siptrunk # and
112 is my extension

Hello @Dan Nica ,

The provider you mention does not prepend any digits to the dialed number. That being said you will be required to dial the full number for the call to go through. For North American it will need to be an 11 digit number so try adding 1. In other words, dial 1623#######. If this works for you then you might want to consider prepending the digit 1 in your outbound rule instead of manually adding it to the dialed number each time.
