Hello everybody.

I have a Yealink VC800 and i can't get video calls to other 3CX extentions.
- Audio calls are OK.
- IP calls to another VC800 endpoint is OK.
- We tried with 3CX webclient, iOS app or a Yealink T58V, with no luck.

On the configuration webpage of the VC800, i have set the SIP account info :
- Username (extention number)
- Register name
- Password
- Server Host (SBC IP)

I know that VC800 isn't supported for 3CX, but does anyone succeded making SIP Videos calls?

It will be down to which video codec each application / hardware supports.

Do you know what video codec the VC800 supports.

3CX webclient supports H264, IOS only supports VP8 and Yealink not sure.

Hello Saqqara,
The VC800 supports H264,H265 & H263...

Just like audio calls where there must be a common codec between 2 endpoints, same applies to video calls.

If the two endpoints do not support a common codec it will not work.
And by common codec, we don't just mean the codec, we also mean the bitrate and codec profile which may vary across different models

Ok, so if the iOS app uses VP8 only, that's why it ain't working..

Thank you for your answers!
